• The Duchess and the Dogs

It's sometimes good to sit back and realise that there are some things that would never have come about in life if I hadn't ended up looking like Camilla. Today was one of those days and I am still so excited by the outcome.

Good old Camilla has just become Patron of Medical Detection Dogs, an amazing organization that trains dogs to detect anything from diabetes to cancer. I was utterly amazed to discover the sensory scope that dogs have and how it can be fostered to help people with conditions ranging from diabetes to peanut allergy!

As a result I've ended up sponsoring a puppy through the web-site. For a very small monthly amount (anything from £4 upwards) you can make a difference to someone who will eventually be paired up with a dog that can help with a range of medical conditions. You get info about your puppy, updates on his/her training and, eventually, news about the person that the dog has been paired up with.

Have a look at the web-site here and, if you're silly about dogs like me and would like to make a difference to someone's life, maybe consider sponsoring a puppy.

Welcome to the blog for Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall Lookalike, Jane Mosse. I hope to give you an insight into what life is like when the world thinks you look like someone else!
